Project story
Our story started with a unique partnership. Alongside CH2M and Laing O'Rourke, we created the CLM delivery partner consortium to deliver the venues and infrastructure for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Together we designed and procured more than £5bn of work while achieving challenging sustainability, design, safety and training targets that set the programme apart and established new benchmarks for the industry, and for Olympic Games. We are proud to have the Games named as ‘the most sustainable’ in history.
The five permanent venues represented £1.6bn of construction and were complemented by more temporary venues than any other Games in history. With the Olympic Delivery Authority we achieved more than £1 bn of savings.
This was not the end of our Olympic story. With responsibility for the £485m transformation of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park we are proud to be one of the few organisations to have worked on the Games from concept to competition and on into its legacy.

“The London Games were, without doubt, the greatest ever and much of that is thanks to the ODA and TfL for delivering them successfully on time and under budget and I commend them.”
“There was a lot of scepticism when we won the bid as to whether the UK construction industry was up to the challenge. Their performance on the Olympic Park is demonstrating that they are world leaders.”
