Mace played a key role in Colonial achieving their goal to receive BREEAM In Use certifications, as well as ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management) certifications. Mace also conducted Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) on new developments. These assessments are crucial in understanding and mitigating the environmental impact of building projects from inception to demolition and enables Colonial to address potential environmental issues early in the project lifecycle.

Moreover, Mace has played a pivotal role in biodiversity management by developing and implementing measures to protect and promote biodiversity across Colonial’s properties. Alongside biodiversity efforts, Mace has developed and overseen waste management strategies that have enabled Colonial to minimise waste and promote recycling and reuse.
