Project story
As East Africa’s urban environment expands, the need for greater services and amenities is ever growing. To support that need, African Logistics Properties (ALP) is building high-quality logistics warehousing for its clients, attracting international investment and creating jobs for the local community.
Across 50,000 sqm of leasable space in Northern Nairobi, we provided cost consultancy services for ALP’s warehouse development, located at across Tatu Industrial Park's 22-acre site.
ALP’s warehousing and distribution park efficiently stores, sorts, transports and distributes goods to its consumers across East Africa. We worked closely with our client to deliver feasibility studies, business plans, in-depth research as well as provide on-going support with project costing and quantity surveying to deliver the scheme on time and to budget. With a strong focus on quality, the park meets the highest standards.
Using a combination of technical skills, project delivery excellence and commercial expertise, we identified clear and realistic alternatives to the park’s design, highlighting opportunities for improvement, reducing costs and increasing the park’s efficiency.
MaceYMR has been working with ALP since 2016 helping the company to achieve its first grade-A quality warehousing development. Acting as vital advisors, our relationship with ALP continues to strengthen both in Kenya and throughout the region, delivering projects in western Nairobi and Kampala.
